Getting started
How do I get in?
Request an invite with your email and, if you like, the system you run. Invites go out a few at a time while Inergy is tested at real tables, and homebrew GMs go first. There's nothing to install: it runs in your browser.
What does it cost?
There's a free plan: one campaign, and each month 30 questions to the brain, one live session, one import of your notes and one written-up recap. The paid plan is $15 a month, cancel whenever, with unlimited questions, live sessions and recaps, and five imports a month. See pricing.
Which game systems does it work with?
Any, for the wiki, the record and the recap: they're your words, whatever you play. Where the AI needs to know your rules, it knows 5e, Pathfinder 2e and percentage-based pools, plus the house rules you give it. Your own system is next.
Can I bring my existing notes?
Yes. Paste in old notes, docs or recaps, up to 50,000 words at a time, and Inergy pulls out the NPCs, places, factions and threads. Nothing is saved until you approve it. The free plan includes one import a month, the paid plan five.
What does “founders' testing” mean?
New features run on founder tables first, and open to everyone once they've run a few nights there. The features page says which is which.
At your table
How do my players join?
Send them the player invite link from your campaign's Members page. They sign in, you give each one their character, and from then on each player has their character on their own phone.
Can I run it with a co-DM?
Yes. Send the DM invite link instead of the player one, and they join on the DM's side of the campaign.
Do my players see my notes and secrets?
No. Your secrets never show up on a player's screen or in a recap. Players see what you reveal to them, and a recap reaches them only when you publish it.
Can my players ask it questions too?
Yes, and it answers them only from what they've been shown: what you've revealed, the recaps you've published, and their own character. Your secrets stay out of it.
Does it work with my VTT?
It works beside it. Inergy doesn't connect to Foundry, Roll20 or anything else, and isn't going to. Keep your maps and tokens where they are. Inergy runs on the other screen and holds the world, the record and the recap.
Does it record audio?
No. Nothing is saved as sound. Your browser turns speech into text as it's said — Chrome through Google, Edge through Microsoft, the same way voice typing works on your phone — and only the text reaches Inergy. Even then, only the lines spoken on the hotbar go into the record. Firefox has no speech recognition, so voice capture needs Chrome or Edge.
Can it post recaps to Discord?
Yes. Connect a channel on your campaign's Discord page, and a published recap goes there in one click.
AI and your data
What if I don't want AI at all?
Then here's exactly where it is. Today, AI works in three places: the brain, which answers questions about your world from your own records; the harvest, which proposes entries from your notes for you to confirm; and the recap, which is written from the lines you kept. On founder tables it also drafts session prep, and the brain's answers cite the records they came from. Whatever it proposes waits for you to confirm it, and a recap reaches your players only when you publish it. Scenes, the console, the TV and everything you do at the table work without it. And nowhere does it make art, voice anyone, or decide what happens in your game.
Who owns my campaign?
You do. Your world, your notes, your players' words. Inergy holds them for you; it doesn't claim them and doesn't train anything on them.
What happens to my data?
Your campaign is yours. Never sold, never shared, never used for advertising or to train AI. Ask and it's deleted: elliot.johnson@enncloudtech.com.
